Hi anyone had any problems with the EVAP System on the Octavia vRS TFSI? I keep getting code PO441 I have changed the purge valve and breather valve I think the only thing left to change is the £90 charcoal cannister :-(

It's normally the charcoal canister but we have a very thick flow chart to diagnose the evap system, checking everything along the fuel system.

Hi thanks for the info I have removed the cover from underneath the car and checked for broken/unplugged pipes all are OK I did notice after jet washing the car the other day that there was soap and water around the breather valve on top of the canister it is a bad seal so maybe when I jet wash water is being sucked in causing it to clog?

They do have a shelf life anyhow, sooner or later the charcoal is consumed.

New canister fixed mine.
