Which engine is best AMK, APX, BAM and is there a particular which will best fit the octavia engine bay? Also can they all be bolted to the octavia 5 speed gear box?

All will bolt in exactly the same as each other and exactly the same as the regular 1.8T.

All basically the same to fit, BAM has a few extra sensors is all really.

AMK I think has the large port non VVT head and is 210bhp whereas the others are 225bhp. They both map to about 250bhp stage 1 anyway. You would be better off with the large port head though if you ever want to go big turbo.

You also need a downpipe that will fit to the K04 turbo, and an ECU or map on your existing ECU that will run it all.

What will the AMK ending map to? My friend is looking for a cupra R. Do they have the AMK engine because its 210 standard?

AMK is the original S3 engine, 210bhp which was then used in the earlier LCRs.

Yep, only the later model Audi S3s and Leon Cupra R's had the 225 engines (and the Audi TT 1.8T Quattro).

i have an APX that i was going to put into my 4x4, this would basically be bolted in extended a few wires and got the ecu remapped, the you need to sort an exhaust for it, easy really, you have a pm about this and other stuff
