i have a 2002 Superb and the rear boot lock has stopped working .... is this going to be easy to replace/fix? The catch is no longer engaging.

When the boot is up, the automatic will lock and unlock, but when I try to put the lock down, it won't engage.

Any ideas?

firstly try the key to open and lock boot instead.

secondly spray librally with wd40 inside lock mec

and down the key hole.
