What's this button do?

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I picked up my first Skoda Octavia (2005 1.9 TDi) today but it didn't come with a user manual.

There's this little button beside the driver's seat, inbetween the front and back doors. Anyone know what it does?

I've scouted the forum but can't find anything.

Thanks

Turns off the interior ultrasonic sensors.

I didn't know that skoda had a starship enterprise button😄

You'll find a lot of quick and helpful advice on here :) Welcome to Briskoda :)

And once you've had the car on the back of a low-loader tow truck you'll understand why they've located it there!

open the door, press the button. Your alarm wont go off on ferries etc.

Does the same job as pressing the lock button on the remote twice in quick succession.

Very handy if you have to leave dogs, grannys etc. in the car, but have to lock it up to keep them safe and don't want the alarm 'tripping'.

Hello and welcome btw, nice to see another Cumbrian member.

What a nice bunch we are on here. Well done for not telling the newbie that the button is the ejector seat.

Thanks all for making me feel so welcome. I like the ejector seat idea, especially when combined with locking Granny in the car.

Must say I'm well pleased with the Octavia. My first Skoda and I'm well chuffed.

Having you lot here really helps too. See you about!

Keep your eyes peeled in the local area section then for any chance to meet up, have pretty regular meets in Cumbria through the year.
