Removed from one of the front struts. Don't have a pair which is odd. Anyone tell me what it is?

God knows either way I ain't got a pair of them. Are they needed? I've looked on etka and there is nothing similar on standard set up.

I had this on my AP cpilovers. Spent a good 10 minutes trying to work out what it does.

Our findings: it does nothing. It must be for the Polo or Ibiza struts, as it simply offers nothing for the Fabia setup. I didn't use it in mine.

did you just have one tim?

They just sit on the top of the strut and fit inside the bottom of the strut top assembly.

Fitted flat part down.

Yeah that's what I thought as they don't fit anywhere else. Are they needed?

I had one for each side mate.

They just sit on the top of the strut and fit inside the bottom of the strut top assembly.

Fitted flat part down.

Thats where they go in theory. But in reality they're loose fitting and therefore sink to the bottom of the strut, and are free to move between the bump stop and top mount, serving no purpose.

They were a perfect fit on my kw's

No function then. I'll just not bother fitting them.
