Just backing a trailer up the side of my house ...when.......the revs rose like mad and the clutch pedal dropped straight to the floor :eek: lots of smoke (boy did that stink) car was going nowhere so unhitched the trailer and let the clutch cool off for an hour and tried it and at the moment it works but when I tried to reverse the trailer again it started happening again so left the trailer where it was and later took the car for a drive and works ok....

Now can I just get a new clutch plate fitted or is this going to be expensive :(
