the check light was on

i went to the technician as he scanned with the Vcds and found fault ENGINE and it was Catalyst Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor Correction

he cleared the error but i still ggt strange smell from the exhaust and feel like something wrong .

can anyone help

Probably needs a new lambda sensor, you can clear the fault but if it is actually an issue then it will come back.

The smell is probably the incorrect fuel ratio,

I'd get it checked out again but it can damage your catalytic converter and that will be expensive!
