Anyone know about this car?

Featured Replies

My brother is looking to buy this car but it's seems a little strange to me as it has limited edition seats and it's Grey but wrong wheels and steering wheels etc.... anyone help?

here's the link:

No idea. It's not an LE though. As you say, it's pre-fl steering wheel, wheels, instrument cluster etc. Also, it has xenons and rear parking sensors. It's actually a really nice car that.

I know looks good on standard wheels and not those lightweight ones too which Is a plus!

Maxidot too. I like it in Anthracite.

I believe they made that colour available for pre FL Octavias shortly before the FL came out and you could specify leather too.

Yes but not limited edition leather with the limited edition number on the tag though....?

Its a nice car! Its probably what someone asked to be made for them.

There were all sorts of mongrels being produced just before the FL came out. Could be one of those.

Ring skoda with the reg or chassis number. They might shed some light on it?

thanks everyone apparently it was specced by a skoda employee.

He bought it and im very very jealous..........

Lovely lovely lovely ...... the seats are the best in the Skoda range I have seen to date. Funny how you could order/spec the LE seats without LE badging/number though.

If it was Race Blue it would be perfect :giggle:

Perhaps it is an LE but with the wheels swapped for the Zeniths.

Nope, it wasn't possible to add options to UK spec LE's.

As this car has xenon headlights (which are cost prohibitive to retrofit), rear PDC and Maxidot it pretty much rules out it being an official LE.

As others have mentioned the unique LE numbering is also missing from the seats too.

If it is truely an ex-Skoda UK car then I'm sure a few 'staff favours' can be put through the ordering system.

A truely unique vRS. Very nice.

My '58' reg estate (Vrs pre-FL) is also a 'hybred' with un-numbered LE seats but standard 18'' Vrs wheels. It was owned by Skoda head office before I purchased it at 1 year old. My reg starts KW, I guess Kx reg is local to Milton Keynes where it was based..

didnt Skoda order 1000 in grey, with 500 LE's and the rest could be spec'd?

...but standard 18" vRS wheels.

Do you reckon Skoda UK knew that the unique LE alloys were made out of tin :giggle:

I would have been very tempted to get an LE if it had been possible to order one to this spec
