Would a Yeti interior fit a 2005/55 Octavia?

Featured Replies

Hi

As the topic title states, would a 2010 yeti interior fit a 2005/55 Octavia?

Matt.

One question... Why? Yeti and Octavia are more or less the same other than the vsrioflex rear seats

Voila!

These have been up for sale for ages at this silly price and not sold.

There were some pics of the Yeti they came from and the roof had been cut off by rescuers.

No idea why or the result of the crash but I sincerely hope everyone involved was OK

Well spotted by the way!

Will they fit the Octy ???

This is the car that interior came out of apparently

I suppose thats always a risk when buying second hand car parts, they could have come out of a vehicle that has been in a severe or fatal crash. I wouldn't be keen on buying it knowing where it had come from, although that wouldn't have bothered me so much when I was younger. In my teens I was offered an immaculate looking car very cheap because the previous owner had gassed himself with exhaust fumes in it :( I was going to go ahead and buy it but my mum wouldn't have it parked anywhere near the house!

I've not studied in detail but having had a few octavias and now a yeti, the front seats are near enough the same but the rears are varioflex so the octy doesn't have the same fixing points for you to fit them in. Look out for a crashed l and k. I had one written off a few years ago. Roof was trashed but seats were immaculate

I would expect the front seats to be taller than the Octavia as you are sitting higher up. They are higher than a Scout which uses a similar floor pan.

The back seats slide forwards and backwards apart from the centre one, so unless you can get the hardware fitted and have the extra height available as the rear seats in a Yeti are set higher than an Octavia as well. Not sure if it is in the seat or the floor pan.

just look at the crash photos. it was rear ended, impact wasnt that hard surely the passenger wouldnt be badly hurt, also there is no head impact mark on the windscreen on passenger side, cant really think why there should be bloody injury

Hi Mike, would there be wiring for the electric seats in my Elegance ?? (I already have heated seats)

There's an Octavia L&K being broken on ebay at the minute. Black leather interior in it.
