Got myself a 55 plate (2005) MK1 Octavia Estate Vrs!

I was looking for a quick buy and on the cheap, nothing special other than I was looking for something like an estate so I could carry rc planes/ Helis and some tools for work etc.

After looking around a bit I found the skoda did apeal to me...I had alook on Ebay and managed to buy one, I did know it was going to be a gamble since it was an ex police force and the guy that was selling it did not come across as someone that really knew much tecnicall other than promesing that everything was ok and it was a good runner!I did the service on it full synthetic Mobil1 all round filters etc. She is all standard I think other than the holes on the dash and some respray marks were the lights and all that crap came off.

Well it has a 175000 on the clock and believe it or not it stil feels like it could do another 100000 no problem, no funny noises or blue smoke, very smooth for that many miles. I drives ok nothing special been a front whel drive estate, but I think it was a good buy for £1600...
