I'm looking to get some pro race 1.2's for the Fab but I'm not sure what size to get.

I'm changing from 17" spiders but wondered what the opinions are....

Should I go for 16" or 17"? I don't mind paying the extra for 17" and the car will be lowered on eibach's

Think 16s makes more sense (comfort, mpg, acceleration), but 17s looks better.

It would be the 17" for me, how come your changing the Spiders? Bored with them? Any pics?

I have black 17" pro race on mine. Love um

Is there a big difference in tyre cost between the 2 choices? Would help sway my decision after seeing the cost of bigger tyres on my last car (£200+ a corner! )

If your planning on fitting bigger brakes i'd go for the 17'' wheels if not the 16'' will be cheaper especially when buying tyres. These are my 17'' wheels. I also have some pro race 3 with track tyres on.

I just really hope they are going to look as nice on the fabia.

Here's how mine currently look, I'm happy with them but I'd like to make my car look more unique and I feel spiders are more common then pro race on the fabia:

@mr rooney thanks for the pic, how do you find the ride comfort with those alloys? I'm running 312mm brakes with no real plans to upgrade to anything bigger

Surprised there is no difference in tyre cost on the toyo's. I'm edging towards 17" at the mo. If anyone has got pics of the two sizes to compare that would be great!
