I've just purchased a new sub for my mk1 vRS, I'm just after some advice of people as to find out where they have run the wire's for both the main power feed and the RCA cable to the boot?

Bump can anybody help?would I be best to run the rca cable right under the centre console?

On my Mk 2 I ran the cables along the nearside sill - underneath the plastic covers inside of the door seals. A large wiring loom already runs through there. I imagine this would be similar in a Mk 1?

power down the left as its shorter distance from the battery and rca down the right

Thanks for the info guy's I had a struggle around last night and after pulling the glovebox out I found where I need to run the cable's from the engine bay. Ran the RCA right down the middle under the centre console and ran the battery along the side under the passenger seat and along the top of the tunnel and into the boot.

This is good advice - I took the risk and ran a (screened) RCA alongside the power and on sense, and it's all OK. But like I say, it's a risk.

Near enough the same as me.
