I have a contact in a collage that has a mk 4 golf 1.8 t with an r 32 steering wheel

They said I can fit it to my vrs along as when I fit the one off my vrs to the golf it doesn't give them any fault codes

So

1 will the r32 steering wheel fit my Octavia

2 will it throw up codes

2. It shouldn't ...

You will need a VAG M8 spline driver bit

Am sure there's on in my tool box at work the part I hate is flicking off the airbag

Any pics? cant think what an R32 wheel looks like, I take it its special?

It's like a golf one but the bottom is flat instead of round with a wee r badge. No pics yet sorry

As long as you disconnect the battery while swapping over you wont get a code.

Lol Sorry I ment I didn't want a permanent fault there ie airbag resistances different I can clear any ones I creat when changing using a Bosch kts

Straight swap no faults

Just disconnect the battery 10 mins before you take the airbag off. don't want it going off
