Felicia L&K Heated Seats Wiring Diagram?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I recently picked up a pair of front seats from an L&K Felicia. They're in great condition and are very comfy (bolted into my 1998 Est Diesel). The chap who removed them from the scrap car managed to get the control switch and some of the loom... basically as far as he could get to without having to remove the dash. I'm going to buy the control relay shortly from TPS but as there are 13 wires (!) in the loom, a wiring diagram would be a great help.

Has anyone done this before, possibly got access to a factory wiring diagram or have a similar setup stashed away that they could take a few pics of?

Cheers

MG

I've got a 400 page folder with all the factory wiring diagrams in, when you say you got the loom has it been cut? When I get a chance I'll upload them...

... In the freedom section :wonder:

Thanks Tom,

The remainder of the loom I have has plugs on for the seats and control switch but that's it.

The control relay is only £27 plus vat so worth buying.

I'll pm you my email, if you have a chance to send me the appropriate diagram, that would be fantastic.

Just out of interest, have you seen the excel spreadsheet that I put together a few years ago on 1.8T 20V Turbo engines?

It's now hosted on ClubGTi forums. 1.8 20V T Engine Codes

Sorry I've not had a chance yet, I've been quite busy, I'll try and remember to do it tomorrow morning.

Yes I've seem that spreadsheet before and there are a few mistakes on there.

Ah well no one's perfect. I've passed on the up keep to the guys at club GTi. Feel free to offer up the information needed to correct any mistakes so that everyone can benefit.

Thanks again re wiring diagram, it'd be good to have the heaters working for the cold weather.

Not my choice unfortunately :(

Sorry I went to go and scan the diagrams onto my computers this evening then the penny dropped and I remembered where I'd left the folder with the diagrams in, it's in workshop sadly and I've not been down there for a couple of days, I'll retrieve it tomorrow and scan them in for you. Sorry again I've been quite busy with work.

After much searching, I discovered that the heated seats are based (no surprise) on VW parts. So the loom, wiring and relays etc are all VW even the plugs under the seats!

So I've just bought a complete wiring loom from a Mk3 golf with relays and control switch and plugged that straight in. I've now got toasty warm heated seats in my Skoda :)

I've found a VW heated seats wiring diagram but the wires are different colours. However, now that I have the Skoda setup working and some of the original loom, I can use that to cross reference and work out the colours that Skoda used.

If anyone else needs to know wiring for these seats, just ask and I'll put the diagram up pronto.

What's L&K?

L&K is short-hand for "Lauren and Klement", historically important names used by Skoda on the flagship, top of the line model, of each their car models. L&K's are pretty rare, for the Felly I believe there were only 250 of each - Hatchback and Estate

My set will be up for grabs soon but without the heaters.

Had a look on the how many left site the other day and it seems there's only 33 left on the road. My dreams of fitting a set of seats to the felly are fast disappearing!

Hang on ghia did you say you are getting rid?

Hi Ben,

Yes they'll be coming out soon.

I only got the Felicia as a daily driver as my van is mid engine/gearbox conversion and I'm currently driving 80 miles a day. Once my contract runs out in June, I won't need it.

These seats came up locally from a mate who pulled them out of a scrapped Skoda. Unfortunately he didn't think to remove the rear seats or door cards and the car has since been crushed. I checked!

I'll be using the heated elements and wiring in the front of my van which will then by my daily driver. Once the weather stops being stupidly cold, the seats are coming out and will be up for sale.

This is my van.

Hi Violet, Thanks that's great.

With the Loom I have now, I'll be able to just lengthen or shorten to suit the application but it's good to have the diagram in case I have any problems in the future.
