After market alloys

Featured Replies

i have got a chance to buy some replica abarth alloys for my wifes car.

problem is the seller doesnt have any bolts with them.

i read somewhere that you shouldnt fit original bolts on aftermarket wheels due to wear rates.

is there anything in this or not ?

Wear rates sounds like nonsense. However, you are right. VW OEM wheels use radius seats, most aftermarket wheels use taper seats.

You'd need to find out what bolts your replicas use, and get the right ones...

he is claiming that they are oem but i think they are reps.

dont know for sure

Well regardless of their original/replica status, either way you'd need to make sure what bolts they use. VW OEM are radius seat, but it doesn't necessarily follow that Fiat OEM are as well. :)
