Hi guys just getting to the point of retrofitting a columbus unit for my current bolero unit and was just wondering where i can get the fascia from for the stereo as the columbus is smaller than my old bolero.

I have phoned my skoda dealer and they could not find the part or said it did not exist which i find very unlikely they kept going on about clarion units for some reason.

And also will i have to disconnect the battery to fit it and if i do disconnect the battery will this bring up any faults or cause any problems.

Leave battery alone. Find a decent dealer to buy the facia from, they ate available. Mine was about £30 I think.

How do they think they fit the Colombus in the Yeti then? expanding foam!

Go to another dealer, they don't deserve the business. as Keith said £30ish. I went from Bolero to Colombus in my 2011 Octy. just make sure you specify right colour and your climate control type (man or auto)

where does one get the columbus from and how much was it?

Hi, Does anyone know when the Columbus Sat Nav DVD maps are updated? I belive the latest is V7... My SM is due in March(?), with Columbus Sat Nav, I don't want to discover the new maps will be released in April!!

Well did a test fit and the radio worked but had no sound from the speakers is this a common problem and just needs coding in or is there more underlying problems.

Could be a coding issue, could be a faulty unit.

You won't know until get it correctly coded.
