Just out of curiosity, how does the standard Fabia vRS stack up against the likes of the 206 gti, mini cooper, etc?

Not bad against either of them. I know I'll get slated for it, but the Cooper s is quicker, but then again it is a lot more expensive.

The Cooper s has a supercharger, so the reality is a chipped Furby to compete.

206GTI, A friend of mine has 1, quoted 138BHP, Std furby will give it a run, but Torque wise( on the go ) , No prob with acceleration from 50 - post M'Way limit . Most Furby's ARE greater than the 130BHP stated.

the furby is a competitor to the cooper not the cooper s... ditto to the 135hp gti not the 180. comparing it with hot hatches not warm hatches is somewhat pointless..
