Hey guys, used the search but having issues finding what I need. So here goes.....

I'm looking to install 2 green LEDs in each door card illuminating the door pockets, but I'm struggling to find a suitable ignition live, without destroying my door looms. Any pointers from experience???

Hi Dave,

If you want to tap in to a live with ignition without cutting in to the wiring loom one is available at the rear of the head unit (stereo), the only problem with this is that you will have to run the cables from the centre console to each of the doors ! not an easy job. If its just ambient lighting that you want (when the sidelights are on) you could tap into the wiring loom for the electric windows switch which light up with the sidelights, saving you running the cables from the doors to the centre console.

Great help that, tapping into the stereo is looking like the better option, might aswell seeing as my car is stripped down too.
