Now that's what I call funny !

I've never used covers since I've always been worried about scratching and swirls. Bottle of water does mine fine and takes a minute. No scraping whatsoever. emoticon-0148-yes.gif

How do they scratch and swirl.? Brill this morning no ice on car, when you put water on screen in the morning you've got to pull over and scrap the ice off cos its refrozen LOL

Not if the water is slightly warm and you're quick with the wipers. Not boiling obviously

The swirling and scratching happens when you put the cover on as the car most of the time won't be spotlessly clean. Then when it's on the wind will cause the sheet to move about causing more.

OR take out the flaming glass!

Geeeez, what is this thread on about? :giggle:

I have tried the covers but they CAN be a pain the the proverbial and they also can get nicked... Water can re-freeze if you aint kwik, crack the screen if too hot... scraping can be a pain if its cold out or you have no scraper handy. (Small tip here, keep an old credit/storecard in your glovebox/wallet, to use as a mini scraper, in a hurry)!

I had a heated scraper given to me last year, for chrimbo... Waste of beer tokens, I thought to myself... This morning, over a year later, I used it for the first time and WHAT A REVELATION! It was so much easier then a plastic scraper, quicker, with little or no re-freeze so well worth the money I didn't pay!
