Fabia Seat Question..

Featured Replies

To be honest as I have heated seats I'd not want to mutilate the seat frame. Looking for a direct replacement so that I can put my heated seats in the loft and replace when I come to part with the car...

:)

Does anyone know if mark 6 golf seats will fit in the front? Found a nice set... Thanks...

Nearly anything will fit but you will have to drill new holes to bolt them down!

Thanks for the input but kind of trying to find out what will fit without having to do this! That's kind of the point of my thread :)

Thanks anyway.

they wont fit without drilling holes then

Not all seats bolt down, take the Octavia 1/MK4 Golf seat for example, they slot into runners that are part of the vehicle floor pan and secure using two bolts at the front.

Without doing a reasonable amount of work you`ll need Ibiza/Polo/Fabia seats or recaro`s and buy the correct subframes from what I can gather.

The other option i looked into was a set of Cobra's up front and get the rears retrimmed. Would have come in about £500 for the fronts inc the subframes and £250 for the rear retrimmed.

This is the pics of the interior i'm hoping to get into my VRS - its out of a Mk2 sport with 13k on the clock

Will they go straight in without any other mods? They're smart! How much did they set you back?

Yeah MK2 seats will drop straight in.
