Rear upper Strut brace for the Mk2 VRS?

Featured Replies

Just testing the water here - I make these for the Mk1 VRS, and i've measure up a mk2 vrs - the mounting points are the same, just hidden by plastic instead of just carpet - would anyone be interested at all?? It would mean cutting a small hole in the right place in your interior trim!!

Here is a link to the passed threads in the Fabia I section:-

I've already checked when we had the Memorial meet up in Scotland on a Mk2 Fabia VRS. but in all honest - it should fit all fabia's as long as that mount point is on the rear inner arches! Prices would still be the same. Anyone want to volouteer the car as a guinea pig??? Would give you a discount on the first mk2 bar! :) Normal price would be £47. As they currently are

Quite interested im assuming there are already holes in the chassis for this to bolt into and would just need a hole either side in the plastic trim.

Where abouts are you based

The rear is the same, fitting it with the plastic trims will be a challenge that's for sure as the trims are full length going down the side of the rear seats.

I'm in Perthshire in Scotland

You don't happen to have an idea off what shipping would cost too Sweden do you ;)?

Would this make any difference on an already rear-ARB-equipped car, or it's effect would be clearer on a standard car?

On my Mk1 VRS I have, front upper strut brace, coilovers, rear arb, polybushed the whole front end and Seat Cupra console bushes. With the rear upper bar I get a lot less shake in the shell when pushing along the country roads. The rear tends to follow the front a bit tighter and if you do happen to lift off mid-corner it doesnt try and overtake me from behind now! I've tried quite hard to provoke the back end out on a wet roundabout and it just wont go!

Posting to Europe isnt a problems - I've got mk1 customers in Finland and Slovenia. Cost would depend on each country. Finland was £24 extra & Slovenia was £30 extra
