thats a statement, so whats the question?

he's wondering why it's doing it i guess. have a mate with a passat doing the same, he says it's from a damaged abs sensor

perhaps he could write and give us a bit more info

ABS sensor or the ABS ring in the hub. Vagcom diagnostic should point to the problem.

I had the same problem on a Mondeo ST TDCI, & it was caused by a broken ABS ring.

or the abs is working under hard braking, which it should, in which case the light wont flash up
