MAF issue. No 12v

Featured Replies

Ok MAF has stopped working. Now just gives a default value in VCDS which now mean IQ is now being limited. VCDS is coming back as an open circuit. Got the multi meter out and while the engine was running I tested the MAf plug while it was disconnected.

Pin2+3 = 0.5v (should be 12v)

Pin3+4 = 5v (correct)

So where does the 12v feed come from? Loom looks like it disappears into the bulk head.

Thanks

Hi,

The 12 volt supply to the maf sensor on terminal 2 is supplied from a 5amp fuse on main fuse box, think it is number 7 fuse

Cheers for that. I'll check it out tomorrow. looking at Fuse Layout it mentions power steering as well. That is fine.

Turned out to be a broken wire under the battery.
