Hello all - new member, long time lurker!

Just spoke to Skoda UK who have confirmed our new Yeti is just arriving in the UK this morning - farily quick build to arrival time. Quick history on the car:

Ordered 4th October 2011

Scheduled for build on 12th December, but then slipped to 2nd January

Confirmed built and in transit to Emden last Wednesday, 11th January

Confirmed arrival by boat via SUK this morning.

However, here's the slight puzzle - our dealer is in Hampshire, and after looking at the Sheerness arrivals, I've convinced our Yeti has arrived either via the EMS or Isar Highway this morning in Grimsby, is this normal? :wonder:

What is normal to you and I is not necessarily normal to SUK.

I suspect your Yeti was delivered via Sheerness on the vessel AUTOPREMIER that arrived on 14th Jan.

Don't try to work anything out because the topic 'delivery' is wide and varied - you just have to view the link on my signature to see how convoluted it got (it drove me up the wall cos I turned into a 'ship watcher' and got it wrong every time!) - just be glad it's in the UK

I also turned "ship watcher" and till this day was never exactly sure which "Highway" brought my car over... At that point, after seven months of waiting, all I wanted was my car!!!

yes quite possible she's gone to Grimsby; both wakev and myself ordered our current Yeti's from different dealers in Surrey, with only 2 weeks separating their build but mine came via Sheerness and wakev's the Grimsby route.

No idea to the logic or lack there of but Grimsby does appear to be the primary entry port.

Thanks for the comments, the Yeti should have arrived at the dealere last Thursday, and we are off there today for them to value our existing car.
