ABC Car Service Leeds

I know there have been a few posts already but I thought I would share my experience of ABC Car Service, Leeds. They are based in an industrial estate on the edge of Pudsey/Staningly and tucked away unless you know about them.

I thought I would give them a go after reading about them on here. Took the Fabia in today for an MOT, service and an annoying pull/drift to the left that I know everyone has talked about before. I have to say it was one of the most pleasant garage experiences I have had in a long time. Also wanted the summer wheels checking whilst they are off the car.

I was looked after by Piotr who is a very knowledgeable guy. We went out for a road test and he confirmed my issue. Once back at the garage he put the motor up on the ramp and then showed me round underneath it explaining and pointing out what he thought needing doing. Turned out the sub-frame needed adjusting along with some magic alignment and angle work. We then went over the details of the service and he did some pre MOT checks. Also ended up checking both sets of wheels for me. Nothing was too much trouble.

Once all the work was done he phoned me and even picked me up whist he road tested it again back to the garage. Even once the work was done and I had paid up, he suggested some possible improvements I might want to think about for the future. I did have to pop straight back as he had forgotten to put the bottom engine cover back on. Even then he took the chance to get back under the car and show me some of the bits I could improve. Even in error it was turned in to a positive! It was a helpful, good experience!

I have to say, the no pressure, happy to help, very open approach is so refreshing from a garage. I would highly recommend these guys for anything from routine work to specialist help if you are in or around the Leeds area. (I would go so far as to say come to them even if you are not in Leeds!)
