Part number for Skoda fabia Vrs drop links

Featured Replies

I got mine delivered last weekend from express car parts, uprated meyle hd ones. If you go on there site theres a list and it near the top.

1160600000 hd i think

Dav you need ford mondeo ones.

Any reason why? mondeo ones are shorter than standard and work well with car that are very low. A lad on here called Tas ran them I think his car was on the same coilovers as yours and his was all the way down.

Does the ARB on the Fabia attach to the top of the strut towers (Mk1 LCR style), or does it loop over the driveshaft and attach to the wishbones/subframe (Mk4 Golf style)? I was under the impression it was done in the style of the Mk1 LCR and wasn't really affected by ride height...

Early Mondeo, firstline part no' FDL6354 or Delphi TC529

mk1 lcr style (top of strut) but i think some of the cheaper makes of coilovers need these shorter ones as the mounting point is to low for standard drop links.

Ah right, I see. In theory the distance between the ARB and the top of the strut housing would be the same (I think), it's the inner part of the coilovers that moves in order to lower the car?

Yeah thats what i mean :p

Not actually seen the cheaper ones up close but it was something Tas discovered with his.

Which drop links first line or Delphi?

Delphi are much cheaper. Are first line better?
