Hi all,

only had my car mapped the other day and since i've noticed that i can always hear the turbo whistleing.. Before the remap the car would sit at idle and after a minute the whistle would start however since the remap it seems all the time.

is this normal at all?

yes its normal mine is whistling like mad love it nothing to worry about what remap you had done on yours?

I got a custom map with rolling road down a place called Perfect Touch in Hoddesdon. They do skylines n all sorts down there and went with them as my dad has an Octavia VRS 2.0 PD DPF and got his car mapped with em and has covered 80k now with no issues.

Now running 166bhp and 277lbs/ft

Mine whistles after re map turned out was cold side damage on turbo made louder by increased boost, however it was down on power and yours isn't so I wouldn't worry

Wasn't too sure tbh. I always let the turbo warm up before booting it a bit and after let it cool down which should hopefully max it's life span
