In truth what gain can I expect if I Map my Superb 07 1.9 Tdi for fuel economy only? This is a taxi currently getting 35-7 MPG inner city.

Im in Belfast...who are the best Mappers around here ( provide a link please ) and HOW MUCH should I realistically expect to pay for a good MAP ?

What price should I expect to pay for a remap?

Is a Remap the same as getting the car chipped?

If now getting 30mpg will Mapping for economy get say 35 mpg....on my 1.9 Tdi Superb?

A remap (or a 'chipped' car as they used to be called) will be slightly more economical - I would say 3 - 5mpg is possibly achievable.

On a MKI Superb you don't have to rely on someone local to you as they can be done through the OBD diagnostic port, try someone like Shark Performance, their maps are renown for being very smooth.

I am not sure what gains you can expect from an Economy Map on a TDi but my 4x4 1.8T Petrol Octavia went from mid to high 20's to low to mid 30's after having a performance map.
