On the Dark Side (Furby dash)

Featured Replies

Is it just me or do other people find the instruments on the Furby a little dark (even during the day)?

I have gotten into the habit of turning on the sidelights automatically when I get into the car, no matter how light/dark it is outside, just to illuminate the dials and LCD displays. :o

You seen the adjustable brightness switch????

I can't say I've noticed that problem but I do find the blue main beam warning light rather too bright (unlike the ashtray light that is about as much use as a chocolate teapot).

Ah, memories of my old Tipo that could blind a driver on a winter's night with bright lights for sidelights, dipped or main beam, front fogs, rear fogs, heated rear window, low fuel...

Yup

I mean it's too dark with the lights off during the day. It's fine in the dark with the lights on :)

I guess the dials are set a bit further into the dash than my old 206, so less daylight gets to them from the outside.

Another person who drives with there sidelights on for dash illumination here!

tbh I dont loose sleep over it though

It doesnt bother me tbh, but you can buy some kit from milotec to brighten the dash or almost anything up on the vRS :)

Yes - I do that too :)

I drive with full headlights on out of habit. Makes a silver car that little bit less invisible to other numpties
