Air Vent Gauge Holder

Featured Replies

Its a great product and something I will be looking at getting but at £74.87 I think that well over priced. It could be made for far less. - *rings tps for price on air vent*

Who are TPS, tbh Im not that great at adapting things and I envisage something going wrong so will brunt the £75 lol

TPS supply genuine VAG parts at trade prices. I will see how much the vent is before considering what I will do myself.

Have one of those lying in my room got it cheap on eBay. Have a gauge too just don't know how to get the plumbing in from behind the vent!

There is a £42.95 option including delivery if you send your own vent for modification, which brings it down to about half the price...

I was contemplating that but if I want to sell it kind of leaves me with a gauge that someone may not want.

Its just a case of glue gunning the back of the vent and a circle cutter for the gauge pod.

Cant cost too much.

Far cheaper to buy someone's knackered vent and mod it IMO. Though also IMO, the driver's side vent is hardly the best place for a boost gauge. I'd want some thing closer to the instruments or closer to my usual driving eye-line.

J.

Millions of vents in the scrap yard. I got 2 full assemblies for under £5

I made something similar but in the centre vent as the side windows can get quite foggy

I will be buying a cheap glue gun and visiting the breakers lol :)

Anyone want to buy one? £1,000,000.00

those gauges are a little expensive! Have a look on ebay for pro sport gauges. The same only cheaper.

And do t forget all, you have a vent in your dash already lol, no need to buy one just yet. Wait and see if you **** it up first :D

I had the vent out when trying to fit mine and there was nowhere from behind the gauge to allow the piping in. I drill holes in behind the gauge to see if I could feed it through from somewhere but there was just solid steel in behind. I'd lOve to get it all fitted and Plummed in :(

I'll ask my mate when I see him how he done it for you
