I've been trawling the local garage website for a replacement vehicle for my sister and I have notices the initals HAT appear in a number of vehicle descriptions including Citroens, Suzukis and Nissans. Some are diesels some are petrols. Can anyone tell what HAT stands for?

hatchback?

Hatchback is what I first thought, but since the all the vehicles I was looking at we're only available as hatchbacks I discounted it. I was thinking that it maybe some new acronym along the lines of DPF, FAP etc.

Horrible, Awful, Trabant-like.
