Finely got my K&N Apollo so had a trail run at fitting it, here's the pictures:

And also something i did a few weeks back, cuts the top half of the grill vents out hopefully to let a bit more air reach the intake opening

P.S. The blue silicone is not staying, black one on order to complete the black look!

Looks fab! The K&N sits nicely in there. I thought about doing the grill vents too, makes no sense why they are there tbh!

Get that flexy pipe moulded and get it made into a single piece of ally, then post the specs here so we can have a super duper Ram pipe just for the furbies!

Cheers! the vents must be to stop water entering i suppose, i'll just avoid horizontal rain lol.

Got a peice of ally pipe coming, should take me past the battery and maybe to the right but don't think i'll be able to get the bend so might have to use a silicon elbow to get to the back of the battery.

Looks neater than the forge kit. Still think the filter element is to small on there though.

looks good, how much did this kit cost?

Looks good that bud, neat and tidy

Totaly agree with small filter causing problems i had a smaller one on mine for a bit and the supercharger was making a grinding noise and as soon as it was removed it was cured...however that was a open heat shielded one so that could have been the problem

If it's an open filter you will get ALOT more noice, it's logic since there is nothing that can dampen it.

This solution looks better and it might even work on LHD-cars!

I'm still keeping the stocksolution tho...

It is smaller but I hope there isn't going to be much filtration difference!

The K&N cost is £105 cheapest on ebay :
