Tried to enable some features for a member today and all the options in coding were blank. Adaption gave errors about ECU not being seen/unknown/ready etc

They wanted the unlock as key removed and large MPH reading on maxidot (didnt know this was possible on maxidot).

The only thing I could do out of what he wanted was change the country to AUS but that ddnt seem to have the desired effect of the large MPH display, so after a lot of agro with VCDS saying I couldnt apply changes back, set back as GB.

Has anyone enabled these on a 2011 VRS?

not done the functions you describe (the maxidot on the fabia is much limited compaired to the octy!) but I did get rid of the stupid security lock that only unlocks the drivers door when you press the button, it now unlocks everything

this was jason who did this for me... someone else (I forget who) tried to access at a york meet, and couldnt get anything at all to respond, so wouldn't have been able to change anything!

I dont know much about it, but i would assume a different software version between the two?

oh yeah, jason also put anti-hijack on for me I didnt bother with the alarm beep

Once you have changed the country with VCDS you then need to untick the Alt. Speed Disp. box in the maxidot.

I got that far, but didn't give the large speedo they wanted, just removed the kph?
