eBay head unit

Being that its not a brand name HU, it's definitely cheap crap.

If your not an audiophone, and would rather have quantity than quality, you may be happy with it anyway.

I'd have a look through the feedback, and see what people say.

Well i tool a chance and bought a generic erisin 7" unit from ebay :http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/320800317188?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 .....it's good for the price. Obvioulsy you get what you pay for. The reason i bought it was that it looks very similar to the standard VW sat nav columbus system and it works.

The sound quality is o.k. , better than the stream , but not as good as my sony single din unit. The sat nav is good ..it too works. For the price cannot complain. You are not getting the most up to date kit, but for a 1/3 of the price of newer flashier units ...what the hey.

You also get a dvd player , tv ( if you want ) , it's canbus compatible , bluetooth adp2 also and you add one of those rear parking cameras too ....for around £250 (including taxes) can't really go wrong.

sounds good mate.

I have one of these fitted in my Octavia though not exactly the same model, I would have a look at his shop as some modles come fron their UK stock and then you do not have the tax problems. You may need to get a new suround but they are less than £6
