Cut your losses, sell it and buy a vrs. Seriously. Engine transplant only other option!

I'm 19 had a crash which was my fault, got 3 points had 2 section 59's which lead to my car been taken off me, insurance won't touch me on a vrs mate

Wow unlucky mate :( I can't help with making it faster, is there any company's remapping these yet? They've been designed for economy so not sure how tuneable they are

I`d guess if they wont touch you on a vrs a highly modded tdi will be a no go too?

And yet you still want to make the car quicker?

Well I'm not planning on tellin them straight away, could I put a inter cooler on? And remapp it? Wanting it hopefully over 100 bigger turbo?

So why bother with insurance if you're not gonna tell them? You might aswell not have insurance as it'll be worthless without the mods declared...

I don't want to tell them I've lowered it then next week I've got an intercooler then next week I've got a remapp then next week I've got vrs bumpers what I ment was I'm not going o be driving the car until everything is done then tell the insurance company it doesn't go up as much as a vrs

If I had a crash and not told them about the mods I'd probley be banded and be void lol why would I do that

Why don't you get a quote from ur insurance company and just say I'm thinking about doing these mods how much is it going to be after the mods are done ?

So what is your game plan if you fit and declare them then your insurer declines to insure your car? You really need to speak to your insurer in advance to see what if any mods they will allow you. My feeling too is that they won't given your age and driving history to date.

Sounds like you've thought this through well!!! Why didn't you phone up the insurance before even buying a 1.4 to save time and hassle when you got a quote!

So the insurers who wouldn't now will? Who are they?

I'm sorry but we are not here to allow you to discuss undeclared mods and what amounts to fraud. They'll rip you to pieces on here as the vultures are already circling.

A full stop here and there wouldn't go a miss either.
