ah the simple pleasure of an easy fix

Featured Replies

As im sure some of ye know im a new octavia owner, only bought my first last friday

it being freshly valeted, washed and serviced i hadnt even had to clean the windscreen until today.

and when i did start washing the rear windscreen, oh what did i discover....

I had started to flood the boot of my new car.

thankfully though, i knew exactly where to go to fix the stupid popped hose joint in the boot.

why cant everything be so straight forward in life?

what i would prefer an answer to tho, is why does the VW Audi group keep putting this joint

directly above the wiring loom leading to the rear light cluster?

is it to help you short out your lights intentionally

or are they just blissfully unaware of the moronicly simple problem...

anyway new owner rant over, other than that, im loving me mk1 Octy :-)

hahahhahah i no how u feel mine leaked all ova the boot latch and after a while it made the door light keep coming on all time what aload of hassle to keep changing plus im on my 4th rear wiper motor as ive had 3 fail misrably :wonder:

:wall:
