Fabia VRS in bad weather (recent winds)

Featured Replies

Looking to go back into a a VRS soon due to insurance premiums! Just wanted peoples opinions on how they have been coping in the recent winds? mainly motorway driving, Ive got a LCR which is planted and very stable, but Ive also got a 09 Suzuki swift which seems to be all over the place.. Just need personal opinions as when I owned one last it was just for a few months in the summer..

The Mk1 was always fine for me. Having a diesel lump helped. Swifts are really light and a crosswind almost caught me out a few years ago. As long as you are aware of it though it's not a problem.

Absolutly no problems even in the winds we had up in Scotland recently....solid as a rock

Mines fine, sometimes twitches a bit when it's really open though!

SWMBO has a Micra and that's all ower the road!

Eibachs (25mm drop)

Mine standard and fills planted, GF's MR2 Roadster however :o

I do motorway run everyday for work over M62 tops. Lowered 40mm and never feels anything but solid through the strong winds and rain.
