First Week of VRS

Featured Replies

I have had my VRS for little over a week and I have to say that its been one of the best cars I have driven and i'm loving every minute of it.

The build quality is so much better over the Octavia VRS I traded in.

The options I asked for i'm glad I did as they all work brilliantly together, the bluetooth is good and I have had no problems, the Amundsen+ Sat Nav is good and very quick at routing. The only issue I have had is initially I thought the ride was very firm, much more than the VRS I test drive, until I looked at the front suspension and discovered that they still had the delivery blocks in place. I have never seen a dealer being so apologetic.

overall its a very good car and worth every bit of the 15% VAT deal I got.

I cant believe how often this happens it makes you wonder what they do during a PDI, either way enjoy the car and welcome to mk2 ownership

Don't they make sure the blocks are an illumines colour so they are not missed out??

If they miss just your Fabia, imagine how many other customers might be driving around with these on not realizing?!

Anyway! enjoy your new MK2 vRS! I thought the current Octavia was built quite nicely, and on par with the mk 2 Fabia... :)

We've had this on here before make sure the suspension not damaged as one member here had to have a new vrs

Sadly he's right. It's happened at least twice now and the person this happened to before had them on for some time and caused damage to the car.

From memory, the blocks are bright luminous yellow...:dull:

Good news though about the rest of the car and I'm glad you are enjoying it. So much fun having a new car :D

Where to look for them blocks?

it was on here that i saw the previous posts about the transport blocks, i did not think the dealer would have left them in esp as when i took the demo car out he had to get them removed by the workshop, did not think they would be that stupid to leave them in. I did take a photo which i will post shortly.
