Back seats problem with picture updated

My back seats are good but the black release on top part of

Seat as started coming away from covers .

Is there anyway I can fix it ??

I have a slightly similar issue, the release is still in place altho the cable seems to have detached inside the seat. Not sure how to fix this either?

There is no cable, it's a plastic rod on the end of the handle, the end normally breaks off in the catch, normally if the catch has jammed up.

The black plastic hasn't come away, the cover has stretched.

The handle just pokes through a hole in the cover, over time the cover stretches and the hole gets bigger.

The fix for the handle is a bit fiddly. You need to remove the handle and trim and get a hook into the seat, lift the lever down in the seat and release the catch. Then fit a new handle and trim.

how does the handle come off as i dont want to make it worse ???
