My 2011 vrs needs some oil.

I'm just off out to get some vw 504 00, but I can't see anywhere obvious how much to take me from min to max on the dip stick.

Any ideas?

Usually a litre on many cars I've had.

I would expect it to be listed in the cars user manual with the fluids/capacities.

Thanks for that - i'd found the 4.6 l required for a change, but couldn't see anything else.

However, having just gone back, it just says (page 199):

Replenishing engine oil

– Inspecting the engine oil level page 198.

– Unscrew the cap of the engine oil filler opening.

– Pour in a suitable grade of oil in portions of 0.5 litres page 240, “Engine oil specifications”.

– Inspect the oil level page 198.

– Carefully screw on the cap of the filler opening and push the dipstick in fully.

Its around 0.5 lt on my TSi.

Also only around 0.5l in my vrs
