Trying to decipher what is the correct oil for my 55 octavia 1.9 tdi / 74kw. cant make head nor tail of the service manual, so what is the correct type of oil to put in the bloody thing!!

Just go to the dealers they are cheaper than most other places lol

505 dunno if that's just for petrol models on fixed servicing or 507 long life for variable servicing on both petrol and diesel

According to the oil can 505 does both lol

505.01 or 507.01 are both suitable.
