Skoda break new record

Well in the Dempsek household.

I have waited to post this - would have been removed otherwise.

Collecte the 1.6 Elegance on 14th January @ 11 and on the 21st of January at 1:30 it brokdown in the drive. Oil warning light fault, check oil and it's fine, call assist turn car on to tell them the exact wording and no fault.

I am now driving the car with either a faulty oil level sensor or faulty wiring. Waiting for new sensor and the garage are going to check the wiring.

At least this time it's not a new engine- well not yet.

At this time no no no more VAG group cars for us.

I just can't believe the luck you are having :(

My dad had a bluemotion tdi golf and it blew 2engines in 600 from new...... Least it was a company car an he works for VW so it wasnt to bad but new cars dont seem to be as reliable as we would like

Did you do something particularly bad in a previous life ?

Fingers crossed its simple and a total one off.

Sorry to hear the issues are continuing. :(

My Sister had a new engine in her X5 after 4500 miles.

Guess it's not just Skoda.

Hard luck anyway. I hope you get it sorted by Skoda in a quick & efficient manner. Great customer service can go a long way in repairing a relationship with a dissatisfied customer. The last time I said 'never again' was with a Renault Magane. The car had some basic electrical faults, but everything was compounded by the poor dealers & TERRIBLE customer service from Renault UK. Believe me, I had months of the most unbelievable crap to endure and will never ever buy a Renault again.

Thanks for the replies, still waiting for a fix.

Anyway my consultant has said I need to give up Sex, Drugs, Rock an Roll and Skoda. With one I will live longer without and the other three will just make it feel like I've lived longer.
