The Yeti facelift - the trick I hope they don't miss

Agreed. I notice now it says Discovery along the bonnet rather than Land Rover.

Yes just read the article I posted that goes with the photo.  The new Freelander will also be a Discovery since this is now becoming the name for anything that's not a Range Rover.  Not sure how they will name them.  Disco Medium and Disco Large?  LOL

... I'd happily spend a whole journey in the seventh row ...

That far back, Johann, would have you arriving a minute or two after the driver

Disco and Discotheque? :)

This thread is all moot now since the FL Yeti does not even have the round fogs anymore...  But I just noticed that the new, new, new MINI has 80% of a DRL as I had proposed for the FL Yeti:

It will mean replacing the ENTIRE headlight on the Yeti to get an aftermarket effect like this and it will be VERY expensive alas...  but I for one would love such a thing.

See a video here with a quick glance at these switched on at around 1:41. The ones in the video seems to be going all the way around whereas the one in the pic above is just part. But perhaps that is just an illusion.

Unless I am not reading things correctly on the new Yeti configurator it looks like the facelift does not have Bi-Zenons on the Elegance, just the gas discharge low beam. If this is correct it seems a step backwards

Just been on Skoda website and they are Bi-xenon on the Elegance.

Tony

Agree, as I have specced them.

Well that is good to know, mind you that Yeti configurator is pretty poor, it does not state Bi-Xenons on the specification at the end and the completed photo also shows headlights without the Bi-Xenons, confusing to newcomers I would think and probably does not do the model any favours in that respect

From first page of configurator -
(although as stated not shown on summary)
