Hope someone can help.

I need to replace the complete unit of my manual driver side wing mirror (not just the glass). I cant afford to go to a garage to get it done but I can source one for about £40 from a breakers. Can anyone give me some tips for actually getting the thing fitted. Looks like im going to need to take the interior door panels off and thread through the cable but cant see where to start.

A decent indy wouldnt charge you much mate, probably around £10 - £15 or a body shop for that matter. It would be cheaper than breaking something and having to payout for the fix aswell as fitting.
