My Octavia 1.9tdi suffers from a knocking/drumming noise from the NSF when going round right hand bends at 30mph+. The noise is linked to the rotation of the wheels - so the knocks go faster if the car goes faster. I suspected the CV joints were the cause but have had the car into a Skoda dealership twice but they cannot replicate the noise and can find no fault with anything. I even took one of their mechanics out for a drive but the noise did not occur.The noise is getting worse so I wondered if any members out there have experienced this problem before?

I'm with you, it sounds like the CV, however I have come accross a few people on here who have had plastic bits under the wheel arch come adrift and rub on the wheels when turning.
