help ,got a 51 reg octaviatdi just had front wish bone replaced ready for mot ,my battery been a bit i think on its way out stopped car and went to restart it battery flat so bump started it it made a noise from gear box peddle dropped to floor no clutch

It sounds like the pedal has broken where it attaches to the master cylinder under the dash - its a common VAG fault

could be a few things TBH.. :yes:

Any fluids leaking? Master mite be fecked, Concentric may of split/popped inside the box, as i say, could be a few things.. Pedals do snap as been stated but normally on the earlier cars as the later ones have the revised PB.
