Fabia 06

Featured Replies

We have a Skoda Fabia 06 plate. The light alert warning light intermittently illuminates whilst driving (it appears to be the rear right hand side brake light). However, sometimes there is no error and the light it fine. Is there a quick manual fix I can try before I take it to a garage? Thanks for your help.

The bulb has probably blown and sometimes when your driving the broken pieces of filament are actually touching. Just replace bulb and see if that cures it

Could also be a loose/badly fitted/corroded bulb/bulb holder? If you definitely know it's the right side (you don't say how you know that) try swapping the bulbs side to side and see if the problem moves or not.

sorry for the delay, the problem was with the bulb. the filament had split and was semi connected, switched to a new bulb and all okay now. cheers.
