What wheels clear my brakes without spacers/addaptors?

Quite fed up with being limited to TT and S3 wheels or cupra wheels. Don't want to pay a fortune for some wheels that I might not like...

Erm... Wheres my crystal ball gone? Dammit can't find it.. It looks like you are going to have to tell use what brakes you have after all :smirk:

It's the usual LCR Brembo thing that crops up every now and then. Basically you're stuck with the choices already known about. It would be wide knowledge if other wheels fitted.

OK, one crops to mind. My old white Team Dynamics Pro Race 1 fitted fine, but they are discontinued now. They were ET25 which helped. Lower the offset, the more chance of fitting.

Ross, in terms of current rims available you are pretty screwed.

I spent some time looking into this (on my car thread) and had an OZ, Team Dynamics and something else that was supposed to fit. None of them did without spacers of at least 5mm.

So I gave up and just continued to run the spiders with spacers.

You are probably looking at a custom set of rims with the offset changed.

It's not cheap and effectively still doing the job of a spacer by moving the wheel out a bit.

PS. if by some miracle you do find something, let me know. :D

Oh, I still intend to meet up with someone that has the K sport brakes and see if the clearance on them is better...

Must do that in Feb. Thanks for the reminder. :)

Pro race 3's clear my big 6 pot calipers on my Tdi 130 Ibiza without any spacers. I also have pro race 1.2's but these need 12mm spacers.

So the answer is pro race 3's

I was getting worried then! I have pro race 3's and am collecting my brakes tomorrow. :D good to know they should be ok, they do look like they are very accommodating.

Keep us informed. :)

I will! I fear they are a bit too non OEM for your style though?

I've got TD ProRace 3's for my "summers".......ok only in weady 15" spec.. :giggle: .....but they look as it they could hold a HUGE disc behind them....my mates think they are 16"......!!!!......the design is very good......when I spoke to TD about getting mine made (custom ET) they said that they are the biggest space for brakes that they do in a wheel design!!!.... B)

Yeah, TBH its the reason why i`m getting the bigger brakes. My 312`s look small behind them now so I wanted to fill them out a bit more. :giggle:
