fabia 1.2

Featured Replies

hi all, just bought my girlfriend an new car... a fabia 1.2

she was wanting wheels for the car!

what do you think would be better a set of 15inch and lower the car or just go for a set of 17's??

i thought 15's and then lower it a bit

hmm - difficult one. You could get some gen 15" wheels and save on lowering, but some nice Audi 17's would be v-nice, but would need lowering. Look to spend

Trouble with upping the wheel size is that you increase the drag so the car will get slower which may be more pronounced on a smaller engine. I'd definitely lower it though as it makes a huge difference - my car even sits nicely on it's standard 14" alloys now it's been dropped :D

Plus upping the size you actually raise the car quite alot from the centre point of the axle. Quite confusing, but if you put 17s, you will need to lower it drastically. Get yourself a set of nice 15's, with 195/50 tyres, and lower the car. It will look great
