diagnostic dats help

i plugged my car in tonight to my scanner due to having a really bad rev fluctuation when idling i was wondering what the maf, idle speed, and map sensor reading should read when on tickover and on a run

I'm not sure what the MAF is when at tickover (from what I can remember on my Liquid Gauge it was 30g per sq.m) but I know on a standard map 1.8T VRS at wide open throttle it's something like 150g per sq.m of airflow (divide that by 0.8 to get the bhp the car is producing, so about 187bhp)

The idle speed at tickover should be between 850 and 950rpm

MAP is the manifold absolute pressure so unless you are on boost (turbo spooling up) it will be a negative figure (vacuum) then on boost on a standard car it can go up to about 0.72 bar (just over 10psi), on VAG-Com though it shows it in millibars and adds 1000 millibar for atmospheric pressure so the reading will look like 1720 millibar which equates to 0.72 bar.
